Plato stated that “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” Hippocrates played music for his patients.  Singing bowl therapy dates back to the 12th century.  Neurological studies have shown that listening to music makes us more productive, more creative, can relieve our stress and improve our moods.

Turn off the TV, push away from the computer and create some of your own sound therapy.  Take up playing an instrument, listen to music while driving or doing household chores, play rain sounds or quiet noise in the background while you work or sleep.  Worst case, you see no results or best case, your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being will all be positively influenced.
