I’ve been making this for 20 years, and it is always a huge success. Yes, it is rich, but you only drink it once a year so enjoy!
This year I made a batch substituting the dairy products with Silk Dairy Free Heavy Whipping Cream, and Silk Almond Coffee Creamer, it is equally delicious!
- 6 eggs
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 2 cups half and half
- 2 cups Southern Comfort
- Nutmeg
Everything should be well chilled before starting.
Separate eggs.
Beat yolks, add sugar and continue beating until fluffy. Stir in whipping cream, half and half, and Southern Comfort.
Beat eggs whites until stiff, fold into liquid mixture.
Dust with nutmeg.
